In February 2019, the fashion brand bonprix opened their fashion connect pilot store in Hamburg. With the flagship store, bonprix combines the advantages of stationary and online retail in an app-assisted shopping experience. The concept, which was developed by bonprix in collaboration with the dan pearlman brand architecture, focuses on intuitive technologies during the entire customer journey: from the check-in when entering the store over the selection of favourite pieces and the reservation of a fitting-room with the app through to the fast self-check-out.
At the POPAI DACH Awards 2019, this innovative concept was awarded the honorary award in the category “Best Digital Integration”. The honorary prize was awarded by an independent, top-class jury. With great joy, Daniel Füchtenschnieder, CEO of bonprix, and Nicole Srock-Stanley, CEO of the dan pearlman brand architecture, accepted the award at the celebratory gala in Frankfurt/Main.
In 14 countries and for over fifty years, the POPAI-association (Point of Purchase Advertising International) has awarded companies and service providers for outstanding POS-activities. Besides the USA, Australia and New-Zealand, countries included and most notably are France – there, the “POPAI Award” holds the most importance and radiance in the worldwide comparison – Great Britain and Germany, several countries in Southern and Eastern Europe, but also South Africa, India, Russia and the entirety of China.
