The presentation of the MAPIC Awards took place on 16 November 2018, as part of the leading international retail real estate event MAPIC. The renowned MAPIC Awards recognize and highlight innovative, creative and outstanding achievements in the all-time changing world of retail and retail real estate, accompanied by a festive gala dinner. Current trends of the industry take center stage and the best in class present, how they are facing those trends successfully. This year, over 300 influential personalities of the retail industry attended the MAPIC Awards Gala, including our dan pearlman experts Nicole Srock.Stanley, CEO, and Nicole Benthin, Account Director.
Two projects of dan pearlman made it to the final round and were nominated for the MAPIC Awards 2018: The store design for the Getränke Hoffmann Flagshipstore in Potsdamand the retail concept for the MARC O’POLO STRANDCASINO Usedom.
Finally, the MARC O’POLO STRANDCASINO was priced with the award in the category „Best New Retail Concept”. The MARC O’POLO STRANDCASINO opened in 2017 at Heringsdorfer beach promenade in Usedom as the brand’s first concept store in cooperation with the retail experts of dan pearlman. The store spreads over a total area of 1.000 m2, complemented by a new gastronomy sector. Facing the Baltic Sea, a destination was able to arise that combines casual fashion, contemporary lifestyle and smart gastronomy in a hybrid dimension.
