In connection with Berlin Fashion Week (06.07- 10.07.2015) the fair „Go-BIKINI BERLIN“ invited both trade visitors and interested consumers to the Concept Shopping Mall in Berlin. With the focus on start-up, lifestyle and fashion the profile of BIKINI BERLIN as being “Host of Creativity” was further sharpened and established. An interactive art installation caused a stir at the Fashion Week: For that the Berlin artists’ collective created an approximately 2,700 meters thread in graphic – the base of any Fashion Creation. The event was part of the holistic place making/branding strategy for BIKINI BERLIN.
The central room installation, a 6 x 6 meter wall sculpture presented an exciting play of colours and served as communication tool for events and highlights at BIKINI BERLIN during fashion week. Visitors could find information concerning the tenants and also leave personal statements about the Fashion Week. This “posting-wall” caused an intense contribution by visitors. Similar to the “thread” look of the sculpture dan pearlman designed the campaign theme “Bikini Berlin Loves Fashion Week” that helped to draw attention at the coinciding fashion fairs. The motifs were designed with an eye-catching 3D typography in the typical BIKINI BERLIN look.
