Two in one fell swoop – Automotive Brand Contest and German Design Award 2018

Mercedes-Benz is on the road to the future. In a brand-experience space custom-built for Mercedes-Benz, employees can participate in training-courses that offer a highly informative and emotionally compelling experience of the brand’s future. We are proud to announce that the brand space has been awarded twice this year:

Automotive Brand Contest:

In October, Matthias Schröer, Daimler AG, and our expert Thorsten Kadel had the honor to receive the award in the category architecture and events for the Mercedes-Benz Brand Space at the annual presentation of the Automotive Brand Contest in Paris.

The Automotive Brand Contest is the only neutral, international design competition within the automotive industry and in just a short period of time, has emerged as a wordwide important event in the sector. Within the prize, the German Design Council honors the most outstanding product- and communication design.

GERMAN DESIGN AWARD:

No later than October, the second award followed: The Mercedes-Benz Brand Space was also able to score at the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD in the price category Excellent Communication Design – The prize, that visualizes success.

With the aim to directly contribute to the overall commercial success of a product or design, the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD, bestowed annually by the German Design Council, highlights the most innovative products and projects, as well as designers and producers that path-breakingly lead the landscape of design. The awards ceremony of GERMAN DESIGN AWARD will take place in Februrary 2019.

Under the patronage of Matthias Schröer, Daimler AG, the Brand Space is opening its doors for the first time to a selected group of participants. We would like to invite you to an exclusive Experience Journey through the Mercedes-Benz Brand Space in Stuttgart on 14 November 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm.
As part of the journey, participants can experience an extraordinary brand staging and get to know all about “Internal Branding & New Work”.
