The Immobilienmanager-Award annually recognizes the best real estate projects, individuals, deals, and services in the real estate world and is considered one of the most important awards in the real estate industry. Since 2008, the award has evaluated submissions across 15 categories. From project development to digitization, sustainability, social responsibility, all the way to the audience award, an esteemed 15-member jury selects the best of the best through an elaborate selection process. In March 2024, the winners and nominees for 2024 were honored. 500 guests celebrated at a large gala in Cologne, not only the winners but also the nominees, as being nominated is an accolade in itself given the multitude of submissions.
A special highlight is the presentation of the Audience Award. For the Audience Award, the editorial team of Immobilienmanager presents a top 5 candidate list for the readers of Immobilienmanager to vote on. A total of 2,724 votes were received. The following projects were shortlisted in alphabetical order: “Die Hausmeister” – a podcast by Andy Dietrich, Prof. Dr. Thomas Beyerle, and Andreas Schulten; Foundation for Man and Environment; Association for Building Preservation.
From the selected top 3, the guests of the gala evening determined the winner of the Audience Award live at the Motorworld in Cologne for the year 2024, and the choice went to the Association for Building Preservation, which was co-founded about a year ago by our creative director and expert in destination development, Karen Klessinger.
“At the Immobilienmanager AWARD 2024, to our great surprise and joy, the audience in the hall crowned us the winner! We thank our now over 100 members for their support and commitment. We are grateful for the past successful 17 months and look forward to the path ahead of us!”, was the association’s reaction to the award win.
