The SKYTWISTER for Loop5 is one of the highlights of the retailtainment concept for the shopping center in Weiterstadt near Frankfurt. The SKYTWISTER, with its 16-meter-high tower, is the last major attraction still missing from the entire project. When erected, the gondola, which rotates from top to bottom and around itself, can accommodate 8 people. Thrills in the shopping paradise guaranteed!
The foundations for the innovative and so far unique retailtainment project in Germany were laid by the client JLL, Jones Lang LaSalle. The project implementation was carried out with dan pearlman as the lead design agency under the project management of JLL. The consistent retailtainment approach ensures a clear repositioning of LOOP5.
The attraction was built by SBF Visa. The operator is iVents. SEIWO Technik is currently installing the decorative structure designed by dan pearlman to complement the SKYTWISTER. As a highlight, an iridescent Macrolon spiral winds around the freefall tower, suspended from the roof structure.
Also in the final construction phase are the Digital Arena and the changing room for the SKYCLIMBER and FLYING LOOP. The overall project is additionally complemented by a staircase and a visually matching outdoor terrace.
