Country Living in the Heart of Cologne – Clemenshof Opening at Cologne Zoo
June 24, 2014Since early July 2014, visitors have had the chance to experience up close and personal around forty farm animals made up of eleven threatened species in a traditional farm atmosphere typical of the Bergisch region. Part of the adventure and species protection concept at the Cologne Zoo, the 4,200-square-metre Clemenshof was designed by dan pearlman Experience Architecture to resemble a typical farmstead and features a house, various stall buildings and a zoo school. Expansive views and a diverse visitor guidance concept provide for a special experience. Built in just 7.5 months, the Clemenshof project was realized not only on schedule but also within budget.
