What characterizes successful brand management? One of the most important aspects undoubtedly is building a personal relationship between people and brands. This includes giving brands a home. A place where the brand and the customers physically and personally meet as equals. A place where brands can put their brand values and ethical principles into practice. And, finally, a place where customers feel comfortable with the brand.
Our collaborations with Commerzbank and Marc O’Polo are perfect examples of successfully implemented places where customers can immerse themselves in the brand world, and get emotionally attached to the brand. We are very happy to announce that we have been awarded with the 2016 German Brand Award for our Commerzbank store concept for and our concept for the Marc O’Polo flagship store.
The German Brand Awards are organized by the German Brand Institute and the German Design Council, and are among the most prestigious awards for brand management in Germany. Prizes are awarded to brands, which are equally characterized by an innovative and consistent brand management, and sustainable brand communication, and they have proven to be groundbreaking in the brand world. During this year’s ceremony, held at June 16th, at the Drive Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin, Karen Klessinger, Creative Director of Brand Experience at dan pearlman, received two of the coveted prizes in the category, “Excellence in Brand Strategy, Management and Creation – Brand Showrooms & Point of Sales”.
For our client Commerzbank, we developed an innovative store design, which puts service claim, feel-good-atmosphere and interaction between customers and employees, in the foreground. For our client Marc O’Polo, we developed a retail concept, which stands for true taste and good conscience. The new flagship store of the renowned fashion label on the world famous Kurfürstendamm in Berlin follows the motto, “Nordic lifestyle,” and combines ecological sustainability with a unique shopping experience.
