Everyone knows that life itself creates the best stories. The story of dan pearlman starts in Hanover, Germany, where the paths of three interior design and scenography students from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover, Nicole Srock, Volker Katschinksi and Marcus Fischer, crossed with those of a young Irish architect, Kieran Stanley. Not long after, the four of them moved to Berlin and together they decided: we’re going to found a company! This is now more than twenty years ago. The first joint challenge and an essential milestone was the naming of the company. The four newbies quickly realized that the agency name should reflect all the qualities that they personally did not have in 1999, the year of the company’s founding: Size, internationality, experience. With confidence, “Dan Pearlman” was chosen as the agency name, which turned out to be a brilliant move. After all, the persona Dan Pearlman became the subject of myths and many funny stories.
Even though our four founders are no longer newbies, the fresh spirit stays alive by the many following new dans.
