People to whom football is holy regard, the European Football Championship and the World Cup are something rather like Christmas. The breathless anticipation of the finals – when the new champion is born – is like that of small children impatiently waiting to open their stockings on Christmas day. To relieve the tension of the little ones, parents joined forces with the marketing departments of large confectionary companies and developed the advent calendar. Well, what’s good enough for children can’t be too bad for football fans, either, which is why we came up with our »K.O.lender«. Not a single goal is predetermined. Every knock-out is sweet and you can always see which teams are yet to be defeated.
