Since 2009 dan pearlman has designed ROCA’s tradeshow presentation at the ISH in Frankfurt, the leading fair for innovative bathroom design and accessories. The special challenge for the ISH in 2015 was to integrate ROCA’s wide product range and areas of expertise into a clear presentation with ambience. The exhibit stand combines strong brand identity with Mediterranean accents; the ROCA black external cladding is accentuated by warm focal points of Mediterranean sunlight. A game of transparency defines the outward appearance: the slat façade allows a view inside without giving it away entirely. This heightens the curiosity of visitors, motivating them to walk inside the stand in order to explore all of its elements. Dynamic incisions in the entrance also added to this effect. Once inside visitors find themselves in the plaza where products were arranged according to distinct themes.
Over 500 products were on display, arranged according to “Bathroom Ambiences” and “Product Competence” themes. The first area was used for presenting product series: twelve individual bathroom designs with different furnishings were embedded into the external walls and featured coordinated materials, colours and decorative elements. The second core area presented ROCA’s technological expertise in armatures, WC technologies and material innovations. Walk-in spaces displayed highlight objects such as Smart Toilets and individually customizable bathroom furniture. Luxurious gold and crème tones define the premium Armani / Roca Collection. Initiated in 2010, the partnership is known for its unique designs and superior quality. In the lounge and seating area on the upper level visitors could be advised on products offerings.
