What defines good light? Good lighting emerges through dialogue — through the interplay of space, use, and atmosphere, made tangible by dan pearlman in the TRILUX Light Studio in London.

What defines good light? Great lighting emerges through dialogue — through the interplay of space, use, and atmosphere. Based on this belief, TRILUX launched the Light Studio — a space where customers can experience lighting solutions, explore applications, and collaborate on projects in a real working environment. In April 2026, the first Light Studio designed by dan pearlman opened in London, with additional international locations to follow. As a brand actively shaping customer proximity, TRILUX is opening a new chapter — creating a physical platform for exchange, inspiration, and consultation.
Growth through expansion
TRILUX stands for over 100 years of lighting expertise, shaped by a strong spirit of innovation and a continuous ambition to rethink light. Founded in 1912 in the Sauerland region, the company has evolved into an internationally active provider of integrated lighting solutions — technologically leading, yet approachable in its mindset. From its German headquarters in Arnsberg, TRILUX is driving expansion into new markets. Through continuous development, strategic partnerships, and the expansion of its capabilities, the company is strengthening its position as a holistic solution provider in the global lighting market — with a clear focus on growth and future viability. The international rollout of Light Studios plays a key role in enhancing brand image and awareness worldwide.
A 360° system provider
TRILUX positions itself as a comprehensive solution partner with a clear 360° approach to lighting expertise. In the new Light Studios designed by dan pearlman, light becomes a spatial experience: customers are invited to test applications, evaluate products, and develop tailored concepts for their specific needs. The target audience includes architects, lighting designers, electrical contractors, and developers seeking integrated lighting solutions.
Grounded and human
At the Light Studio, TRILUX takes on the role of a host — with genuine customer proximity and a deep understanding of individual needs and challenges. Personal exchange, partnership on equal footing, and lived customer-centricity define the entire experience.
Design and architecture: The Light Studio, created by dan pearlman’s brand architects, stages light as the central protagonist — making TRILUX’s pioneering spirit and innovative strength tangible. At the same time, it communicates the company’s core philosophy: light is far more than a product — it is a universal element that shapes spaces, creates atmosphere, and enables life.
Space for light, application, and dialogue: The Light Studio combines multiple functions within an environment organized around its central highlight — the “Sphere of Light.” This abstract TRILUX sun forms the heart of an immersive staging with expansive media surfaces, sound, and dynamic lighting scenarios. Inspired by the natural progression of daylight, the space transforms into a flexible stage with changing scenarios, applications, and atmospheres. Each visitor experiences an individual, curated “light show” that seamlessly connects products, applications, and brand philosophy.
Spatial structure: From this central point, the space is divided into three key areas: a Welcome Lounge, the Light Stage, and a Hands-On collaboration zone. Each area supports a different aspect of the customer journey. The Light Stagefunctions as a precise lighting lab, where color, intensity, and effects can be experienced directly. In the intentionally open Hands-On area, dialogue becomes tangible: customers bring their own plans, develop ideas further, and engage directly with experts. Generous tables, bar seating, and an informal atmosphere foster collaboration and co-creation.
A contrast of light and dark: Materiality is defined by black anodized extruded aluminium profiles combined with light oak. This contrast between technical precision and natural warmth reflects the TRILUX brand: innovative, high-quality, yet approachable and grounded.
“At TRILUX, it’s not about luminaires, but about the impact of light in space. In the showroom, visitors themselves step onto the stage — they experience the light, become part of the staging, and are no longer spectators, but protagonists.”
