On 6 February 2026, SRH University, represented by Managing Director Thorsten Bagschik and Simone Kuhn, Head of Strategic Brand Management & Innovation Management, accepted the German Design Award in the category “Excellent Architecture – Interior Architecture | Public” for the Brand-in-Space concept of the SRH Campus Berlin at a festive gala in Frankfurt.
The SRH University Campus Berlin represents a “New Learning Hub & Collaborative Space”, transforming traditional places of learning into dynamic, innovative environments tailored to the needs of today’s digital society. The Brand-in-Space concept for future-oriented learning and working was conceived, planned and implemented by dan pearlman Group under the direction of Prof. Marcus Fischer. Building on the university’s corporate identity, all materials, color and form languages, furniture types and colors, surface configurations, as well as design elements and their spatial implementation were comprehensively defined.

The German Design Award is one of the world’s most prestigious design honors. This year, the German Design Councilrecorded around 3,900 submissions from 57 countries. The SRH Campus Berlin project is among the awarded works recognized for outstanding design quality, innovative strength and future relevance.
