Germany’s most beautiful and most modern specialist beverage market finally opened ist doors. After two years of construction, Getränke Hoffmann’s new flagshipstore can be visited in a historical building in Potsdam.
Under direction of Account Director Alexander Eberle, Creative Director Marius Bell, and Architect Christian Gutenberger, dan pearlman was responsible for the new design concept. The big opening event took place on March 21st. Among the guests: Numerous press and business representatives as well as the Brandenburg Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy, Albrecht Gerber and Gertränke Hoffmann’s managing Director Mario Benedikt.
The new store’s appeal lies in ist special architecture. Preserving the beautiful authentic iron columns in themain interior hall, great part of the building has been completely rebuild. The luminous retail area with a size of around 500 squaremeters and high ceilings is sophisticatedly equipped. Thanks to a material mix of black crude steel, matte tegometal, oak wood and stone tiles a modern atmosphere dominates the space. The gallery above the retail area can be used as an event space for wine testings, product presentations, lectures, and seminars. Besides the events, customers can taste the offered wines with an integrated tasting tool. Through electronic pice tags and digital sales consultants with touchscreens the newest technology is used. By implementing a 24 sqauremeter LED wall with an innovative light concept into the retail space, dan pearlman’s design experts solved the task to illuminate the vast room. Warmest thanks go to the lightplanners from jack be nimble, especially Sophia Klees und Max Erlemann.
