dan pearlman has again designed CALAMAR’s exhibitor stand for the presentation of the men’s fashion brand at Panorama Berlin. This time the design requirements included incorporating the look of CALAMAR’s current Rome-themed catalogue as well as spotlighting its new urban Black line. dan pearlman used the 90-square-metre stand to create a location that unites a raw workshop feeling with an elegantly modern Dolce Vita style. The workshop incorporated the core elements of CALAMAR’s Black Collection, and made use of old units of measure, an old tank and in particular a motorcycle with retro charm to captivate the eye. A location to feel right at home for strong personalities who know that “black is the new black”. Various vintage models, steel frames and a brick wall underscored the authentic and urban look of the new collection.
Inspired by Italian café culture, dan pearlman also designed part of CALAMAR’s exhibitor stand as a café where visitors could snack on Italian treats and enjoy cappuccino. Image motifs from the Rome catalogue and arrangements of coffee utensils provided for addition Italian associations. The Visual Communication and Retail units were responsible for the catalogue’s design, travel tips as well as unifying the stand’s product presentation, conception and design.
