Bernard Bettenhäuser is CEO and founder of “BEAM cross realities” that joined the dan pearlman Group in 2018. As a communication designer he develops immersive communication products which have their reference point in the real world. In this “phygital reality”, all borders and limits break down between the various technical systems. The experts find themselves in a world defined by collaborative processes which serve to interactively widen the architecture of a room with a seamless transition. To reach such brilliant results, he and his team develop an operating system, a XR OS, which holistically encompasses humans, the room, and the digital world. He teaches at design academy berlin where he leads the CGI sector of the BA program Film + Motion. At the university he founded the research team kir.works – Kommunikation im Raum with the aim of refining the conceptional and technical side of AR / VR / MR.
