How do people want to live and travel in the future and how will the travel industry change accordingly? From March 9 to 11, the Berlin Travel Festival 2018 answers these questions by bringing together today’s most forward-thinking adventurers, explorers, and brands to share their expertise in travel. As an expert for destination development in the retail and leisure industry, our CEO and founder Nicole Srock.Stanley was also invited to participate as a speaker at the new festival.
The Berlin Travel Festival will have its debut this year, taking place from March 9 to 11 at Arena Berlin. It focuses on travel companies and start-ups as well as on innovation and future topics in the travel industry. The Berlin Travel Festival ventures into new territories and aims to inspire its attendees – whether for planning a trip, for exploring new regions, or simply for capturing the unique moments of the travels. The festival area is divided into five different themes: “Ocean Life“, “Culture Journeys“, “Weekenders“, “Outdoor Escapes“ and “The Nest“. More than 80 exhibitors will be represented at the Berlin Travel Festival, about 60 experts will participate in the lectures, workshops and panel discussions of the diverse program.
On the first day of the festival, experts will be discussing the future of offline travel retail as part of the workshop Shop Shift – A Trend Lab for Creative Minds, analyzing trend-setting brand experiences and innovative travel retail concepts. Nicole Srock.Stanley will discuss the topic Retail Experience Architecture at 2:30 pm. Aside from her, Chris Sanderson, founder of The Future Laboratory, Patrick Whyte of Skift, Gabriel D. Doucet Donida of Atelier Voyage and Silvia Italiani of Amadeus Travel Channels will participate in the discussion on March 9, offering insights into the latest travel trends and best practice examples.
