dan pearlman wins „ADC- Nagel“ with Marc O’Polo Flagship Store on Ku’dammMay 15, 2014
With the Marc O’Polo Flagship Store on Ku’damm, which has already been certified in Gold for sustainability, dan pearlman won the bronze “Nagel” in the category DESIGN CRAFT – SUTAINABLE DESIGN at the ADC – Contest. Every year, the ADC distinguishes the best creative work in German-speaking countries and it is one of the largest and most important creative competitions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This year, for the fiftieth time, 364 jurors have come together in 28 juries.
Since May 27th, 2013 the Marc O’Polo Flagship Store presents itself in form of a classic flat, according to dan pearlman’s retail concept with the motto “Nordic Lifestyle”. Next to Germany’s 84 Marc O’Polo Stores, the flagship store on Ku’damm, already certified by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e.V. (DGNB e.V.), represents a special milestone. With its Nordic design, the classic flat not only creates a shopping experience, but at the same time shows an example of social and ecological sustainability.
The pilot project Marc O’Polo on Ku’damm here successfully creates a standard value for sustainability and entrepreneurship at the point of sales.
